Seventeen years ago Cheryl Hughes and Julia Hammond set up Europe’s first 12+ agency to respond to the increasing demand for models that are something other than the Fashion Industry’s standard size 8. They soon established themselves as Europe’s leading agency for size twelve and above, working alongside some of the world’s top plus size fashion names to take the sector into new dimensions.
The growth of the plus size market as a whole continues to drive demand for models of an exceptional standard. Hughes Models, now run by Cheryl Hughes both represents some of the world’s leading 12+ models and also attracts its most promising future stars.
Cheryl with 25 years of Industry experience, together with her team, works very closely with both clients and models to create an environment that is both personal and professional.
Hughes Models 12 + now individually manages approximately 55-65 girls; each of them stunning, beautifully proportioned, professional and very successful. In addition Hughes offer an excellent Model Development Programme for prospective New Faces and are constantly recruiting, training and developing suitable girls to launch into a successful modelling career.
Hughes Models 12+ work portfolio now covers all areas of fashion in all parts of the world, including photographic work; shows and exhibitions; catalogues and brochures; editorial; and advertisements. Their client base includes Ann Harvey at Alexon, Bloomingdales, Elena Miro, Evans, Marks & Spencer, Neckermann, Saks Fifth Avenue, Quelle, JD Williams, to mention just a few.
